Sienna Tweed Smocks

If you’re here reading this then you’re obviously interested in the Sinnea tweed smocks. Let me start by saying that these are a dream project for me. I’ve had a fascination and love for tweed long before I put pencil to paper and started designing clothes.

Tweed is a fabric that holds such a timeless charm, the rustic colours, the beautiful patterns and weaves. It exudes a timeless classiness and charm that is unmatched in my opinion.

I’ve always wanted to fuse country gent style with my own particular ideas and I’ve done this here with the Sienna smocks. Design wise I’ve taken inspiration from old-skool outdoor smocks, a nice loose cut for ample layering and a lot of emphasis on the hood construction, peaked and adjustable for added protection.

It’s available in two different tweeds, a houndstooth 100% English woven wool tweed (shown above) and an imported Italian tweed wool blend (shown below) both are beautiful and the quality is superior level.

Both jackets are lined with Bernstein tan cotton twill and finished with YKK zips for the neck along with hidden button placket side vents to aide the putting on / taking off of the garment.

Sizing & Fit

This is meant only as a guide to help you choose the most appropriate size and to get an understanding of how the jacket looks and fits.

The Sienna smock is designed to be worn loose, it hangs better when worn this way due to the nature of the cut, which is generous like oldskool outdoor smock jackets. It has been cut this way to allow for adequate layering and because of the style of the jacket.

For your reference I am wearing an XL in the photographs. This size is relaxed on me and leaves plenty of room for layering and movement. I prefer to wear this size as I like the look of a looser cut. I'm 5'11, stocky build and generally wear XXL.
If you prefer a closer fit then consider sizing down but please consult the measurements carefully to choose.

Please read this next section carefully if you’re considering ordering.

As always I encourage you to study the measurements carefully and compare them to a similar style jacket that you already own so you can choose the size best suited to you but please consider the fit guide and description when doing so.

Please note that due to the costs involved in making these and the fact that they're made to order I cannot accept returns due to sizing issues. However, I always get people who miss the pre-order and then ask to be put on a reserve list so that if any prospective spares become available in their size I am able to offer it to them. In this scenario a refund can be given to the original buyer but only once the requested return has been re-sold.

Please see graded measurements below that are in CM.

As always there is a manufacturing tolerance of +/- 2cm

Note: Across chest = underarm pit to pit

Just as a parting statement; Everything I do is manufactured here in the UK in the same small batch London production studio that I've used from the start. I've never been interested in making 'fast' fashion and garments that will be worn a couple of times and then forgotten. Therefore I use the best manufacturing and best fabrics that I can viably afford to produce clothing that will be worn and loved for years to come. British manufacturing is not cheap and neither are superior quality fabrics, therefore I keep my pricing as sustainable and fair as possible to be able to deliver the above. Quality is paramount and these jackets are a reflection on me.

Lastly, thanks for all your support - without it Creu would just be another pipe dream.

    Saul.
